Katelyn Willis is a third-year student studying Electrical and Computer Engineering planning to graduate December 2017. She graduated High School with her Associates Degree after attending an early college charter school. This has allowed her to focus on her love of engineering while at Oregon State University.
This year Katelyn is Co-Recruitment and Co-Sisterhood chair of the engineering sorority Phi Sigma Rho. She is excited for the opportunity this allows her to reach out to other women in engineering. Katelyn will be back at Intel this summer for her fourth internship with the company! During her various internships there, she has worked in validation labs, written Verilog test benches, root caused customer issues, made schematic/design changes, and much more.
When she's not giving COE tours, working on engineering projects, or participating in events on campus, Katelyn spends her time playing guitar, hanging out with her sorority sisters, watching her fiance in the OSUMB, and planning her August 2017 wedding.
