After living in several countries throughout Asia for most of my life, Jerimiah moved to Portland, Oregon at the start of his freshman year of high school. He has been interested in engineering as long as he can remember and after graduating from Lincoln High School, Oregon State University seemed like the perfect fit for him. He is currently a student in the University Honors College double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Physics. When he finishes up his thesis, he hopes to continue his education in graduate school and specialize in either fluid dynamics or combustion. With any luck, one day he might be a rocket scientist!
When he is not studying or in class, you would probably find him at the gym or running and hiking in one of the many parks around Corvallis. You might also find him in his kitchen trying out a new recipe. He absolutely loves cooking and is always super excited to try new foods from around the world. Few things make him happier than spicy food. Other OSU programs that he is a part of include being a TA for several first year engineering courses, participating in the MECOP internship program, and leading a number of tours and activities as an Engineering Ambassador.
